Vinyasa is a style of yoga in which students synchronize movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Zero flexibility required! No mat? No problem! We got you covered. Let’s get it started!
This up-tempo Vinyasa class repeats a series of flowing postures between longer holds of static postures. Movements and holds are intentionally linked to the breath. The lively pace creates heat and builds strength. The static postures increase flexibility.
With the goal to create harmony between mind, body and spirit, this class offers a gentle sequence of flowing movements combined with conscious breathing and attention to the present moment. Expect to build strength and sharpen your focus. This class begins with a short guided meditation and ends with an extended savasana.
Time to slow it down. This class is designed to be a standalone practice or be a complement to more active practices of yoga or exercise. Poses or asanas are held for longer periods of time. Beginners are guided to hold poses from 45 seconds to two minutes. More advanced practitioners may stay in a single asana for five minutes or more. Yin asanas apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body creating increased circulation to the joints and improved flexibility. Yin offers a more meditative yoga philosophy, cultivating space of inner silence, rest and reflection.
“Buti” is a Marathi Indian term for “the cure to something that’s been hidden away or kept secret.” Buti is a practice of going within to discover your true power and full potential. Buti Yoga is a powerful fusion of tribal dance, primal movements, plyometrics, and vinyasa-style yoga. Buti unlocks your full potential; it activates the spark that dwells deep within you waiting to be let out. This practice is challenging but approachable and all levels friendly. Class is driven by up beat music to keep you going strong from start to finish.
REPLENISH BREATH AND BALANCE SERIES
This class will move you through a consistent series of balancing poses, key strengthening movements and balance drills each week. A new series of poses will be introduced each season. This flow will focus on staying grounded, steady progress and finding balance on and off the mat.
Press the reset button for your body and mind. This class is a slower, meditative and restorative experience that uses bolsters, blankets, blocks and other props to shape the body in a way that calms your nervous system and soothes your entire being. This is a great class to open the hips, legs and shoulders, minimize muscle tension and relieve stiffness. Restore and Replenish is also a nice recovery complement to our more vigorous classes such as Power Flow and Fusion Flow. Expect a slow moving but impactful class that gives your muscles and joints a hug and helps melt your stress away.
This class introduces basic and challenging yoga poses. Kids participate in fun yoga games, breathing exercises, mindfulness activities and more.
